Every Mobile Disco hire booking is issued with a standard booking agreement and terms and conditions. These are found below.
- The 25% deposit (if required) must be paid no later than 14 days after receiving the confirmation letter. After this, an additional £5 per day past the due date will be added to the final bill. The deposit is non-refundable.
- Financial settlement of the remaining balance is to take place at the end of the performance by cash, or cheque made payable to ‘OTronics Media Services Limited’. If payment is not received after the performance, OTronics Media Services Limited will charge an additional £5 for each day past the due date until full payment is received.
- Should OTronics Media Services Limited be temporarily rejected on arrival of the venue due to late arrivals of guests, venue access difficulties etc, the full remaining fee is to be paid at the end of the performance.
- Should additional performance time be required, add £15 per extra half hour performed.
- Should there be a power failure upon arrival of OTronics Media Services Limited at the venue cancelling the event, 50% of the remaining fee is to be paid. Should a power failure occur at any point after the performance has started terminating the event, the full remaining fee is to be paid.
- In the very unlikely event of OTronics Media Services Limited equipment failing during the event prematurely terminating the disco entirely, no remaining fee is to be paid. Full backup equipment will however be carried on site.
- In the extremely unlikely event of OTronics Media Services Limited failing to attend the performance, the Client will not be expected to pay any remaining balance and in this instance only will any deposit be refunded (and any other monies received beforehand).
- The Booking Form is proof of verbal or electronic agreement and shall include any other terms and conditions agreed before issuing. Any alterations need to be made by the Client or OTronics Media Services Limited and must be agreed by both parties.
- OTronics Media Services Limited must be notified immediately if the event has to be cancelled for any reason. If the cancellation occurs within 14 days of the scheduled event, the full remaining fee is to be paid.
- The event may be rescheduled to an alternative date (provided more than 14 days notice is given - see clause 9) for no extra fee should unforeseen circumstances arise, provided OTronics Media Services Limited are available.
- The Client will allow suitable venue access and time for setting-up (one and a half hours), dismantling and removal of equipment (thirty minutes maximum). The Client will also ensure safe and adequate power is available (at least two 13 amp sockets). OTronics Media Services Limited will ensure equipment is electrically safe, Portable Appliance Tested (PAT) and is installed appropriately.
- The Client will ensure suitable supervision of its guests and assistants at the venue. OTronics Media Services Limited will not tolerate violent behaviour from anyone and reserves the right to terminate the event should this occur.
- The Client is responsible for ensuring that the venue has any appropriate music licenses prior to the event.
- Errors and omissions excepted.
Safety Information:
We are fully police-checked (Disclosure/CRB) for undertaking Young Persons discos, carry Public Liability Insurance (£10 million policy) and all equipment is Portable Appliance Tested (PAT). Proof of these documents can be provided on request. Invoices and receipts for all payments available.
OTronics Media Services Limited can use a strobe light and fog machine.
Strobe lights can affect people with epilepsy. A warning sign will be displayed at the venue and the light will be used in short bursts at an average of ten flashes per second. However, if you wish the effect NOT to be used, please tick this box:
