Website construction and/or maintenance orders are accompanied with a confirmation letter, a copy of the order details to keep, and terms and conditions. These are detailed below.
- The £25 deposit must be paid no later than 14 days after receiving the confirmation letter. After this, an additional £5 per day past the due date will be added to the final bill. The deposit is non-refundable.
- OTronics Media Services Limited will only undertake the website construction process after the deposit (see clause 1 above) has been received.
- Financial settlement of the remaining balance is to take place by cash, or cheque made payable to ‘OTronics Media Services Limited’ when the website is complete and online. If payment is not received after the website is completed and online, OTronics Media Services Limited will charge an additional £5 for each day past the due date until full payment is received.
- The £25 deposit provides an hour of website design. Any subsequent designing time will be added to the final bill at a rate of £20 per hour or £10 per half hour.
- In the very unlikely event of OTronics Media Services Limited' equipment failing during the construction process delaying the deadline date, a reasonable discount will be offered. Full computing backup equipment is however always available to OTronics Media Services Limited.
- The Booking Form is proof of verbal or electronic agreement and shall include any other terms and conditions agreed before issuing. Any alterations need to be made by the Client or OTronics Media Services Limited and must be agreed by both parties.
- OTronics Media Services Limited must be notified immediately if the website construction order has to be cancelled or delayed for any reason.
- The website construction order may be rescheduled to an alternative start date for no extra fee should unforeseen circumstances arise, provided OTronics Media Services Limited are available.
- OTronics Media Services Limited will not design and build any website that contains any inflammatory, knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, racial, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, or threatening content.
- OTronics Media Services Limited will not publish any website or material that invades an individual’s privacy or otherwise violates any law within the United Kingdom.
- OTronics Media Services Limited will adhere to the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA)
- The Client will ensure all website content provided to OTronics Media Services Limited will be, to the best of the Client’s knowledge, original (see clause 13 below), true and accurate.
- The Client may use copyrighted content (text, images etc) from other sources provided proof of use is given in writing from the original author(s). OTronics Media Services Limited must be shown such proof in all instances.
- OTronics Media Services Limited will protect any usernames, passwords or addresses supplied by the Client.
- The Client will allow for a small text link on their website linking to ‘OTronics Media Services Limited’ home page.
- Errors and omissions excepted.
